Brothers,

Also, tentatively Monday, August 29 in the evening will be the Texas Delta chapter meeting followed by the Brother Mentor Rite of Passage. Brother Darren Randle will be going through this Rite. He is the current Homecoming King, recent Ruck Leadership Institute Graduate, past Chief of Staff for Frontier Fiesta, past Residential Assistant and UH Football Manager.
If you claim alumni status, you may participate in the Brother Mentor Ritual regardless of if you've been through the Ritual yourself. All current Brother Mentors are welcome as well.
If you are not familiar with the Brother Mentor Challenge, it comes after initiation/Epsilon and is a continuation of the Balanced Man development process for senior members of the chapter.
Business dress is required and the entire Rite of Passage should take about 30 minutes not including the chapter meeting.

"Alright brothers,

Our SigEp Poker Night will be held on June 30th at 7 PM at our house at Bayou Oaks! That's next Thursday. Let me know if you can make it! It's gonna be a twenty dollar buy-in so we can have some fun and not worry to much about winning and more about the brotherhood. If you don't know how to play and would like to come... out, we're going to have a free table available if you don't feel like buying-in.

Feel free to bring drinks and snacks if you guys would like, and also invite other brothers that may not be in this group. This Wednesday, I'm helping some of the undergrads learn a bit of poker so if any of you want a quick lesson, let me know as well.

AGAIN, if you don't know how to play or don't feel like playing, come out anyway and just hang out! Hope to see everyone out here!"
Point of contact for Poker Night is Jose Pedraza joseantara@hotmail.com

Biography: By now most of you have been receiving my e-mails and whatnot about Houston SigEps for over a year. Some of you have an idea of who I am and others I suppose an annoying monthly reminder. I have a lot of drive for SigEp because it's made me into the person that I am today. My Brothers are some of my best friends and I've learned to become a best friend and influence many people. As you can see from above that I've accomplished a lot in SigEp and the Marines but it's not everything I've done. I firmly believe in the values of Sigma Phi Epsilon and that OUR Fraternity needs its members to commit to a lifetime of Brotherhood, regardless of what chapter you come from or what era you joined. Houston SigEps is something I'd like to see become a powerful force of Brotherhood.
Submit your own biography to me so that we are not just anonymous faces in the crowd but a community of Brothers in the best city in the nation!
